Relationships may be viewed as disposable and replaceable by some. Online dating apps are so ubiquitous that it comes to dictate many marriages in Malaysia and Singapore. However, there is little research to link the rate of marriage and divorce among couples who met through dating apps. As a result, whether online dating apps produce better romantic outcomes than traditional offline dating is debatable. ## Whether you like it or not, the trend is unstoppable: People must embrace technology and adopt a new parenting style by guiding their children to meet their potential son-in-law and daughter-in-law by swiping left and right with their phones. By doing so, the parents' standards and guidelines will be naturally instilled into kids. Alternatively, hire a professional dating service that emphasizes safety and security (Ahem~ \*clearing throat\*). ## Need for Speed? Single individuals in Malaysia and Singapore often find themselves consumed by the demands of their busy lives, particularly their work. This modern-day reality has greatly influenced the pace at which they seek out romantic connections and explore compatibility with potential partners. As a result, the conventional approach of meeting someone at social gatherings and gradually getting to know them on a deeper level before deciding to pursue a relationship has been replaced by the use of dating apps. In this digital age, individuals rely on initial impressions, based on profiles, beliefs, and instincts, rather than the traditional method of gathering information and observing interactions in person. It is important to acknowledge that while these initial impressions may hold true, they can also be deceiving. Rather than meeting possible soulmates at social gatherings, obtaining a sense of how well a gentleman or a woman interacts with others in the group, and gradually learning a variety of details about them before deciding whether to see them in person again; people using dating apps simply rely on "who they say they are" after a match, attracted by pictures, beliefs and intuitions rather than facts.
